CITIBIN was created by serial entrepreneur Liz Picarazzi, who couldn’t find a durable and attractive enclosure for her own trash. She didn’t like the design or limited durability of plastic, wood, and metal trash enclosures on the market, so she created her own. CITIBIN became a neighborhood sensation, and what started as a pet project in the backyard is now a national brand that designs and manufactures outdoor storage solutions for trash, recycling, packages, strollers, bikes & more.
Prior to CITIBIN, Liz founded Checklist Home Services, the highest-rated, woman-owned handyperson company in New York City. In former lives, Liz worked as a marketing executive at American Express and an election monitor in Russia and Ukraine (yes, you heard that right).
Liz likes to make and start things that simultaneously engage her head, heart, and hands. Besides being an entrepreneur, Liz is mom to a teenager and the wife of the COO.
Musician, composer, dad, needle-in-haystack finder. When the economic impacts of CV-19 brought an end to his 15 year stint in the fashion industry, Frank quickly transitioned to the Citibin team (like, literally, the next day). As COO, he manages inventory procurement, sales forecasting, capacity, warehouse and logistics planning, and late-afternoon coffee runs. He also does this a lot…
