CITIBIN Founder and CEO Liz Picarazzi isn’t one to brag, but she’s won two coveted awards in the space of as many months.

Earlier this year, Picarazzi was named one of Inc.’s 2024 Female Founders, joining the ranks of influential businesswomen, including Alli Webb, co-founder of Drybar, and Rebecca Minkoff, founder and designer of her eponymous New York City-based fashion label.

Picarazzi won the NYC Entrepreneurs Organization’s prestigious Think Big, Be Bold award in June. When presented with the EO award, Liz Picarazzi was described as “a visionary who not only dared to dream but had the courage to turn those dreams into reality. Standing tall among fellow trailblazers, this visionary entrepreneur has shattered boundaries.” And she’s definitely a big thinker.

Picarazzi conceptualized the idea of attractive, rat-proof trash enclosures and built the initial prototypes in her Brooklyn backyard.
