LIZ REISCH PICARAZZI
CITIBIN was created by Liz Picarazzi, who could not find a durable and attractive enclosure for her own trash. She didn't like the plastic, wood, and metal trash sheds on the market, so she created her own. Her trash enclosure was such a hit in her community that she made CITIBIN a sister business of her handyman company, Checklist Home Services. In previous lives, Liz was a marketing executive at American Express and an election monitor in Russia and Ukraine. Liz likes to make and start things, and play with her daughter, husband, and 2 cats.
Liz is excited to use the CITIBIN blog as a platform to discuss topics she is passionate about: entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and investing in trade education.
An architect and carpenter, Mario arrived in New York City in 2014 from the German town of Münster, between Düsseldorf and Hamburg. Mario leads design, planning, and oversees fabrication for CITIBIN. What does he love best about the company he joined? Seeing the fruits of his labor, both in terms of actual projects delivered to happy clients, and in terms of triple-digit yearly company growth since he joined. Mario enjoys playing baseball, watching the sun set in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and spending time with his wife who moved to join him in the U.S. in 2017.
Alejandro is originally from Venezuela. He joined the CITIBIN team in mid-2017. He wears many hats here at CITIBIN, and is always looking at ways to improve our products or create new products as needed. He understands that our clients want a high-quality product and he enjoys working hand-in-hand with them to fulfill that need. As a fairly new New Yorker, Alejandro enjoys playing tennis, attending electronic music events, and discovering new places to eat in the city.
